On Windows
- Clear Browser Cache (e.g., Chrome)
- Open Chrome.
- Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
- Go to More tools > Clear browsing data.
- Choose the time range and the types of data to clear (e.g., cached images and files).
- Click Clear data.
- Clear System Cache
- Type Disk Cleanup in the Start menu search bar and open it.
- Select the drive you want to clean.
- Check the boxes for the types of files you want to delete (e.g., Temporary files, Thumbnails).
- Click OK and then Delete Files.
On Mac
- Clear Browser Cache (e.g., Safari)
- Open Safari.
- Go to Safari > Preferences > Advanced and enable Show Develop menu in menu bar.
- Click Develop in the menu bar and select Empty Caches.
- Clear System Cache
- Open Finder.
- Select Go > Go to Folder from the menu bar.
- Type ~/Library/Caches and click Go.
- Manually delete the contents of each folder.
- Repeat the process for /Library/Caches (without the tilde).
On Android
- Clear App Cache
- Go to Settings > Storage.
- Tap on Cached data and confirm to clear the cache.
- Clear Browser Cache (e.g., Chrome)
- Open Chrome.
- Tap the three-dot menu and go to History > Clear browsing data.
- Choose the time range and types of data to clear.
- Tap Clear data.
On iOS
- Clear Safari Cache
- Go to Settings > Safari.
- Tap Clear History and Website Data.
- Clear App Cache
- Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage.
- Select the app and tap Offload App to free up space without deleting the app, or Delete App and reinstall it.
