- Join or Start a Meeting:
- Join an existing meeting or start a new one in Microsoft Teams.
- Access Meeting Controls:
- Once you’re in the meeting, locate the meeting controls at the bottom of the screen.
- Start Recording:
- Click on the “More options” (three dots) icon in the meeting controls.
- Select “Start recording” from the dropdown menu.
- Recording Indicator:
- A notification will appear for everyone in the meeting, indicating that the meeting is being recorded.
- Stop Recording:
- To stop recording, click on the “More options” (three dots) icon again.
- Select “Stop recording” from the dropdown menu.
- Access Recorded Meeting:
- After the meeting ends, Teams will process the recording, and it will be available in the “Chat” of the meeting.

- The ability to record a meeting may be subject to your organization’s settings and policies.
- Make sure you have the necessary permissions to record meetings.
- Microsoft Teams recording is typically stored in Microsoft Stream, and access to the recording may depend on your organization’s policies.
